The Alfa Romeo Brera (Project 177) and Spider (Type 939) was a sports car produced by the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 2005 to 2010. The two names correspond to the three-door hatchback and two-door Spider bodies; this latest version was released in 2006. Both models are manufactured by the Italian bodybuilder Pininfarina. The Brera originally appeared as a prototype car at the 2002 Geneva Motor Show, showing this bodybuilder’s idea of a front-engined, type 2 + 2, Alfa Romeo coupe. It was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Italdesign Giugiaro. and the scissor doors were included in its design. The frame is made of carbon fiber. For the door panels, dashboard and seats, Italdesign has mixed brown leather and aluminum.
