The Alfa Romeo Giulietta (Type 750 and 101) was a compact car manufactured by the Italian automaker Alfa Romeo from 1955 to 1965. The Giulietta was presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1954 and nearly 132,000 were built at the factory in Alfa Romeo Portello in Milan. Giulietta’s first model was a coupe, the Giulietta Sprint, introduced in late 1954, followed by a passenger car in the spring of 1955 and a two-seater in mid-1955 called the Giulietta Spider, with a convertible body made by Pininfarina. In 1957 the more powerful version, called Giulietta TI (International Tourism) was presented with minor cosmetic changes, and new designs for the front and rear lights.
