How we handle content

Manufacturers own their manuals. Our answer pages use our own words, tables and diagrams, and our owner's manual pages link to manufacturers' official copies rather than hosting them. When you report a problem, we review it and remove or disable access to material we find infringes your rights.

What to include in a notice

To help us act quickly, please include:

• a description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
• the URL of each page on this site where the material appears
• your name, address, telephone number and email address
• a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them
• your physical or electronic signature

Counter-notices

If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address explaining why, with your contact details and signature.

Repeat infringement

We remove material that is the subject of a valid notice and do not knowingly republish it.
